Our history...

The original St. Patrick’s church, built in 1909, served Kelliher parishioners until it was destroyed by a fire in November 1921. At that time the people of Shooks received permission from the bishop to build their own church which was named St. Joseph’s. In 1929 another church was built in Kelliher and was in use through 1985 when the current church was built. The two parishes were consolidated into one parish on January 1, 1986, under the name St. Patrick’s.
